> NEW: we're back, baby (aka pushing an update at 1 am is a good decision) (if it isn't that's for tomorrow me to decide)(also, new blog post explaining me dying)
I once made a choice to live. So much has happened to me since that decision. If this power is a sign that I'm drawing closer to life...
does it mean that the answer at the end of the journey is...
death?
I was surprised, at the time, to discover how little the possibility bothered me...
> WELCOME . . .
[ 1 ] Mafreila (マハフレイラ, Mahafureira) is a damage-dealing Nuclear skill, dealing a normal amount of elemental Nuclear damage to all enemies. It is utilized by Makoto Niijima (through Johanna) in Persona 5, as well as by her and Aigis (through Palladion) in Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth.
[ 2 ] Mafreila (stylized mafreila.) is a shabby little website I'll be using to host my creative work, rambles, little love letters to the things I enjoy, among other things I care about. It's a little bit of my soul in digital format, if we're being poetic.
mafreila. as a concept has existed since mid-2019. It has gone through many, many iterations since then, most of those lost to time, but the core of it has always been the same: to express parts of myself to the public, and see if those flickers resonate with anyone out there, in that large world.
I won't add autoplay music here, since I find it quite irritating, but please do know that this homepage specifically is made at least 1% better by listening to this while reading it.
To that effect, I can view someone imagining "why is there so much Persona 3 in this site"? And.. well, the truth is that I just think the SMT and Persona series are quite great videogames in their own right. But, as stated with the 'little bit of my soul' quip, well.. My love for those games, and for Persona 3 in specific as well, is quite a sizable facet of my soul. I hope to be able to express this through mafreila. too.
Fun fact: I had intended to use the skills Megidolaon, Makouga or Psiodyne as this site name! Psiodyne almost won (since I love Haru almost more than I love myself), but I ultimately decided to go with Mafreila.
